The K1 CB450 was a one year only bike, and it was the last Honda to rock chrome panels on the gas tank.
2011 Husaberg FS570
When this bike came out, it was a bit of a revelation. It wasn’t cheap, but many reviewers considered it to be the best supermoto you could buy at the time.
1979 Honda CB750 10th Anniversary
10 years after releasing the CB750, Honda put out an Anniversary Edition to mark the occasion. Differences between the Anniversary Edition and the K model include mag rims instead of spoked wheels, and different badges/side covers. Like the base bike, the 748cc engine produced 78 horsepower and 48 pound-feet of torque that went through a 5-speed transmission, yielding a top …
1986 Yamaha SRX600
Just like the SR500, the SRX600 featured the engine from one of Yamaha’s dirtbikes placed into a chassis to enable sporty street riding. Unlike the SR500, this bike sold poorly outside of Japan. Here in the states, it only lasted for a year. But the 45 horsepower was enough to have fun, and some people consider it to be a …
Nice Price – 1974 BMW R90S
This is a ‘rider’, not a show bike, but I think the $7,500 price reflects that just fine. I haven’t seen a good-running example of the R90S for this cheap in a while, but can you get over the faults?

View Post1973 Ducati 750 Sport
Restored (and for sale by) DB Cycles, this Ducati 750 Sport is claimed to be very correct, and it looks great. Not much information is given besides the components you’d expect to see in this bike – Scarab brakes, Borrani rims, Conti exhaust, and Dell’Orto carbs, but for an asking price of nearly 50G’s you won’t be buying this bike …

View Post1973 Honda CR750
Compare this to the previous post of a CB750 chopper – talk about two different ways a bike can be modified! After Honda’s victory at the 1970 Daytona 200, they sold 200 race kits that would turn a CB750 into a CR750 racer. Those kits cost $10,000 back in the day, which would roughly equate to $61,000 now.

View Post2005 BMW R1200ST
The BMW R1200ST was the short-lived successor to the R1100RS/R1150RS. Considered by some to be one of the best sport-touring bikes ever made, this bike was an absolute commercial failure in the US. I’d pin that on two factors: first, this bike overlapped too much with the RT and the GS. Second (and more importantly)…it’s hideous. Just 554 were sold …
