Between 1969 and 1970, Alta built trials motorcycles by converting Suzuki road bikes with 118cc two-stroke engines. From what I can tell, these were the only production motorcycles to come out of Wales.

View Post1992 Yamaha TDM 850
The Yamaha TDM 850 is definitely an oddball…a well-rounded bike in a US market that seems to prefer hyper-specialization. Sold in the US for only two years (1992-1993), there aren’t very many of these bikes still around, but the TDM definitely has a cult following. Well suited for tall riders, Yamaha designed this bike to enjoy mountain roads and also …
$3,800 – 1947 Matchless G80 Clubman
Am I crazy or is this a reasonable price for the G80? I don’t believe I normally find running examples (even if they’re all blacked out) for under 4 grand.
“A Series” – 1969 Moto Guzzi Ambassador
Post Listing Update: After being relisted, this Ambo did not meet reserve with one bid up to $4,700. In 1969, Moto Guzzi decided they would increase the output of their V700, and their method of choice was an increase in displacement. This resulted in a rare stopgap model between the V7 and the Ambassador – basically a 750cc version of …
1979 Yamaha XS650 Chopper
Featured in The Horse magazine, this XS650 has been turned into a chopper with an Ardcore Choppers frame and Hugh’s Handbuilt-tweaked motor. Seeing these bikes at shows it’s one thing, but I always enjoy learning what the market thinks they’re worth…

The Husqvarna SMS630 is a continuation of the SM610, a bike that took the supermoto market by storm. Husky has won 13 world supermoto championships, and this is their newest attempt at a bike for non-racers.

View Post1 of 500 – 1999 Yamaha R7 OWO2
The Yamaha R7, also known as the OWO2, might just be the most beautiful road bike to ever come from Japan. Right from the factory floor, it was a ready to race World Super Bike (WSB) racer with the necessary trimmings (lights/signals/plate) necessary to make it street legal. Prices were incredible – with an MSRP of approximately $32,000, it was …
Turbo’d – 1977 Rickman Kawasaki
Because when you ride a Rickman Kawasaki, the first thing you think of is “I need more power!”
1989 Honda CB-1
Originally built for the Japanese market, the Honda CB-1 was a beautifully balanced motorcycle that lost out in an American market that was obsessed with having as much horsepower as possible.
Original Owner – 1984 Honda Interceptor VF1000F
The Honda VF1000F (VF standing for V-Four) was launched in 1984 as the flagship of the V4 line. Featuring a DOHC 998cc engine that produced 113 horsepower, adjustable Pro-Link suspension, and triple discs, this bike was released in response to America’s demand for an even bigger Interceptor.
