Created by City of Hate Vintage Cycles, this bike was built to be raffled off at last year’s Rockers vs. Mods in Dallas. It was apparently popular enough that they sold out of raffle tickets, and the bike entered the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show before it was delivered to its new owner.

Kawasaki model ZG1200. This example is the first year of the 4 cylinder inline engine. A full dress touring bike, the Kaw was highly regarded for it’s speed and value. MSRP was significantly lower than any other tourer available at the time.

Turbo Triple – 2005 Triumph Rocket III
The Triumph Rocket III made quite the stir when it first came out in 2004, as it had the largest displacement engine fitted to mass production motorcycle – a whopping 2.3L unit that put out 140 hp. Fun fact: the STARTER motor on this bike makes as much power as Triumph’s first-ever motorcycle – just about 1.75 horses.
1985 BMW R80GS
Post Sale Update: After 15 bids on eBay, this GS sold for $7,200. Arguably the motorcycle that created the ‘adventure bike’ segment, the R80GS (and successors) has been invaluable to BMW. It’s also becoming harder and harder to find a good example.
