City of Hate – 1968 Honda CB350 Custom

In Custom, Japan by AbhiLeave a Comment

Created by City of Hate Vintage Cycles, this bike was built to be raffled off at last year’s Rockers vs. Mods in Dallas. It was apparently popular enough that they sold out of raffle tickets, and the bike entered the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show before it was delivered to its new owner.

The tank is from a Rickman dirt bike, the engine has been rebuilt, and it has new clipons, rearsets, shocks, tires, battery, seat, and more. It just got new carbs and a dyno tuning in the last week though the seller oddly says it “may need additional fine tuning if desired.” For more on this build, check out this feature on Pipeburn.

One problem to note – the seller says a ‘blackish brown substance’ sometimes appears on the frameafter long rides, so you’ll have to figure that out. The seller guesses it’s a mixture of gas leaking from the tank and the rubber tank mounts.
