Picture Intermission – Custom Rumble Scrambler Contest

In Intermissions by Abhi1 Comment

The Custom Rumble is a competition between Ducati dealerships to see who created the best custom based on a Ducati Scrambler. There are now 40 finalists from 6 different continents, and some of them are really nice.

Winners will have their bike sent to World Ducati Week in Misano, and my three favorites are:
#40, built by Marin Speed Shop and Hugo at Untitled Motorcycles in San Francisco, California:
JAB40

#7, called IceTrack Pro (presumably a play on Ducati’s Flat Track Pro upgrade for the Scrambler). Built by Bow Cycle North in Calgary, Alberta:
JAB7

#12, built by Moto Puro out of The Netherlands:
JAB12

I have a lot of issues with how they’re doing this ‘contest’, but the biggest are that the winner is based on Instagram likes and that some bikes have been up for voting three times as long as others. Whatever – if you already have an Instagram account, then great, you can vote. Otherwise, feel free to enjoy some custom builds (and let me know which ones you like below in the comments)! Either way, click here for all of the entries.
