The GSX-R has a long history in the sport bike world, raising the bar time and time again. Their legacy is so great, I even bought an SRAD GSX-R750 myself. The GSX-R250 is one of the lesser known displacements. I myself have only seen this one, and didn’t know these four cylinder screamers even existed. Suzuki launched a new GSX250R (note the placement of the R) in the States this year, and the parallel twin puts out an incredibly modest 24hp – less than half of what this piece of 80’s awesome can dish out.

1998 must have been a crazy time to produce this little 250cc gem, and the world is better for it. The four cylinder engine is mated to a steel frame, and matched to 17” wheels and dual front brakes. The bike (VIN: GJ72A117576) is located in Los Angeles at Iconic Motorbikes, but is currently registered in Utah and CA buyers are cautioned to registration difficulties. A shame, given that there are only 1,950 miles on a bike with a 17,500RPM redline.

Find this little Gixxer for sale in Los Angeles, California for $5,500 here at Iconic Motorbikes.
