December 2020 Result Highlights

Last month we saw some great bikes – but did they sell? And if so, for how much?

This list will only include listings from eBay (or other auction sites). I unfortunately have no way of finding out final sale prices of bikes offered on Craigslist/Cycle Trader/Kijiji/etc. With that said, here are some highlights from last month:

Wrong Exhaust – 1968 Honda SS125A – sold for $1,525 after 37 bids on eBay in Trenton, New Jersey.

2001 Harley-Davidson FXDP Dyna Defender – after being relisted, this Defender sold for a $11,000 Buy-It-Now on eBay in Sacramento, California.

No Reserve – 1982 Honda CR80R – sold for $2,235 after 19 bids on eBay in Powell, Ohio.

No Reserve – 1986 Honda Z50RD Christmas Special – sold for $6,800 after 20 bids on eBay in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Original Owner – 2001 Suzuki TL1000S – sold for $6,420 including buyer’s fee after 7 bids on Iconic Motorbike Auctions.

196x Hodaka Ace 90 – Post Sale Update: sold for $1,504 after 37 bids on eBay in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Frame Swap – 2005 KTM 525 SMR – sold for $4,280 after 16 bids on Iconic Motorbike Auctions in Santa Monica, California.

1972 Bond Bug 700ES – sold for $19,000 after 31 bids on eBay in Hamburg, New York.

VIN #1 – 2003 Honda RC51 – sold for $6,550 after 12 bids on eBay in El Paso, Texas.

No Reserve – 1971 Suzuki TC90 – sold for $1,475 after 51 bids on eBay in Mentor, Ohio.

1946 Indian Chief – after being relisted, this Chief sold for a lowered BIN of $35,000 on eBay in Vernon-Rockville, Connecticut.

#1/10 – 2020 Aprilia RSV4 X – sold for $80,250 including fees after 15 bids on Iconic Motorbike Auctions in Santa Monica, California.

No Reserve – 1934 Indian Sport Scout – this Sport Scout sold for $15,375 after 10 bids on eBay in Brush, Colorado.

1984 Moto Guzzi V65SP – sold for $3,600 after 4 bids on eBay in Cincinnati, Ohio.

1 of 106 – 1984 Bimota SB4S – sold for the opening bid of $16,000 on eBay in Southington, Connecticut.

No Reserve – 2007 Benelli TnT 1130 – sold for $5,100 after 84 bids on eBay in New Tripoli, Pennsylvania.

1983 Suzuki XN85 Turbo – sold for $10,000 after 38 bids on eBay in Beaverton, Oregon.

156 Miles – 1996 Honda NSR250R SE – sold for $19,000 including fees after 8 bids on Iconic Motorbike Auctions.

1978 Yamaha SR500 – sold for $4,500 after 18 bids on eBay in Camano Island, Washington.

2007 Honda “CR500” – sold for $5,049.99 after 21 bids on eBay in Surprise, Arizona.

1978 Kawasaki KX250 A-4 – sold for $5,000 after 20 bids on eBay in Louisville, Kentucky.

No Reserve In Belgium – 1956 BMW R26 – R26 sold for $9,050 after 73 bids on eBay in Peer, Belgium.

Ending Soon – 2018 Alta Redshift MXR – sold for $10,100 after 42 bids on eBay in Novi, Michigan.

1982 Kawasaki AR80 – sold for $2,025 after 6 bids on eBay in Chadron, Nebraska.

Salvage Title w/ 1 Mile – 2006 Ducati 999S – sold for $11,100 after 37 bids on eBay in Independence, Oregon.

Still New In Switzerland – 1992 Bimota Tesi 1D 904SR – this one had quite the history – in 2017, the seller was asking for $150,000. A year later the price went down to $65,000. It then sold to someone in Arizona who was asking for $48,950 in February, and it just sold on Bring a Trailer in a no reserve auction for $76,000 plus fees!

1976 Kawasaki KT250 – sold for the BIN of $3,900 on eBay in American Fork, Utah.

1997 Suzuki RMX250 – sold for $3,220 after 31 bids on eBay in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Here’s some stuff that didn’t sell:

2019 Zero Engineering Type 9 – did not meet reserve with 2 bids up to $18,000 on eBay in Los Angeles, California.

1963 Torpado Sport – did not meet reserve with 14 bids up to $1,259 on eBay in Mesa, Arizona.

1968 Honda CB450P – did not meet reserve with 39 bids up to $7,000 on eBay in Butler, Pennsylvania.

120 HP – 1974 Kawasaki H2 750 – this H2 did not meet reserve with 41 bids up to $12,000 on eBay in Oxnard, California. It was later relisted with 4 bids up to $12,600 and the same result.

1968 Honda Z50 – did not meet reserve with 20 bids up to $4,000 on eBay in Cedar Park, Texas.

Old and New – 2009 Triumph Bonneville 50th Anniversary – both bikes did not meet reserve – the modern one had 14 bids up to $4,550 while the classic had 24 bids up to $16,000.
